Trump’s bigotry is blatant.

Eric Zuesse (blogs at https://theduran.com/author/eric-zuesse/)

As I have explained in many articles, I would never vote for the rabid neoconservative Kamala Harris, because neoconservatives crave expansion of the U.S. empire so much that they are willing to expand it even if that will require starting WW3 in order to do the job — they are supremely evil.

However, Donald Trump clearly IS a bigot. It’s just a fact.

On September 14th, Reuters headlined “Trump pledges to deport Haitians in Ohio city if elected” and reported:

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump pledged on Friday to conduct mass deportations of Haitian immigrants from the Ohio city of Springfield, even though the majority of them are in the United States legally.

The city for days has found itself at the center of a social media maelstrom after right-wing agitators latched onto false claims that Haitian arrivals were eating household pets.

"We will do large deportations in Springfield, Ohio," Trump said at a press conference at his golf resort near Los Angeles.

The majority of the 15,000 Haitians in Springfield are there legally. Trump's longstanding pledge to conduct mass deportations usually refers to those in the country illegally.

Trump did not repeat the assertion he made during Tuesday's presidential debate with Democrat Kamala Harris that immigrants were eating dogs and cats, remarks that have been widely mocked. …

Trump has cited the tensions in Springfield as another example of the need for hardline immigration polices. The influx of Haitians has boosted the economy but also has strained social services.

"I'm angry about illegal Haitian migrants taking over Springfield, Ohio. You see that mess, don't you?" Trump said at a rally in Las Vegas, later on Friday.

"I'm angry about young American girls being raped and murdered by savage criminal aliens that come into our country very easily, but very illegally," he added later in his speech.

On July 16th, USA Today had headlined “Long a divisive figure, Don Jr. says Trump is a changed man after attempted assassination”, and they reported that despite Trump’s senior son believing that the first assassination-attempt against his father had made his father a changed man, “Now again, it’s Trump so you’re still going to be reactionary.” In other words: Don Jr. was admitting that his father is a “reactionary.” And bigotry is perhaps the cardinal feature of any reactionary — might even be the defining feature. This allegation, about Trump, came from Trump’s own son, who certainly knows his father well. Regardless of whether Don Jr.’s opinion that an assassination attempt had produced in his father a “new man,” Don Jr. was still acknowledging that this “new man” would remain a “reactionary.” Don Sr.’s statement on September 13th about Haitians proved the truth of this when he promised to “do large deportations in Springfield, Ohio” if he becomes America’s next President.

In other words: America’s voters are being offered only a choice between a lying bigot as America’s next President, or else a thoroughly pathological person who craves to become effectively the emperor over the entire world if she wins this electoral contest. On a lesser-of-two evils basis, Trump should be the next President, but regardless of the outcome, it WON’T be due to America’s being a democracy, because it’s NOT

When I first posted this article on September 15th, the day of the second assassination-attempt against Trump, a Trump fan commented “Have you no heart, no common decency, no respect for another man’s life or the trauma his family went through today?” I replied:

“I have compassion for the Haitians — some of whom are legal immigrants in this country — who will be barbarically treated by Trump if he becomes President, but I have no compassion for either Harris or Trump, because both of them are more perpetrators of evil than victims of it. Harris’s being probably even more dangerous to the world than Trump would be, doesn’t mean that Trump would be good for the world. The choice between them results from America’s being a dictatorship by the super-rich; it doesn’t result from any real democracy. You fantasize that this election is a choice between a good person versus a rotten person, but in reality it is a choice between two rotten people, even though one of them is even more rotten than the other is.”

Investigative historian Eric Zuesse’s latest book, AMERICA’S EMPIRE OF EVIL: Hitler’s Posthumous Victory, and Why the Social Sciences Need to Change, is about how America took over the world after World War II in order to enslave it to U.S.-and-allied billionaires. Their cartels extract the world’s wealth by control of not only their ‘news’ media but the social ‘sciences’ — duping the public.
